The Eger butcher's shop has stood for quality, passion and genuine craftsmanship for generations. In 1971, Timo, Tobias and Diane Eger's parents laid the foundations for the family's success story in Erdmannhausen. In 1982, the new location in Winnenden-Birkmannsweiler was established, which is still the heart of the company today. Today, the three siblings run the butcher's shop with great passion, constantly expanding it and delighting their customers with a wide range of catering services. The close cooperation with the FESSMANN company demonstrates their strong roots in the region.

Metzgerei Eger wanted to give its products an unmistakable aroma while guaranteeing the highest quality and a long shelf life. However, the traditional smoking methods were time-consuming, inefficient and offered no way of precisely controlling the process. There was also a desire to be able to smoke different products at the same time without having to constantly move them around. At the same time, it was essential to maintain the artisan approach. At the same time, the butcher's shop attaches great importance to regional ingredients, sustainability and consistently high quality - requirements that made a modern, reliable and precise solution necessary.

Metzgerei Eger had a clear goal: to achieve a distinctive, consistent aroma that would make its own products unmistakable and clearly set them apart from the competition. At the same time, the smoking process was to be optimized so that it runs more efficiently, saves time and delivers reliable results - regardless of external conditions. The use of modern technology should make it possible to smoke different products at the same time without the need for time-consuming rehanging. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and innovative technology should form the basis for consistently high quality and long-term success.

With the T1900 system from FESSMANN, Metzgerei Eger has found the perfect solution for its high demands. The modern technology enables precise control of drying, smoking intensity and smoking duration, so that a consistently high quality standard is achieved at all times - regardless of external conditions. The ability to smoke different products at the same time without having to move them around makes the production process much more efficient and flexible. The system can also be operated overnight, which saves valuable time and reduces the workload in the long term. For Timo Eger, the T1900 is therefore not just a technical tool, but a key component in combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology and further strengthening his own brand identity.
