With increasing production volumes and a growing degree of automation, Nortura Forus reached the limits of its previous processes. Sausage production in particular lacked a continuous solution that could reliably handle high volumes with consistent quality and minimal weight loss. The manual control system slowed down processes and was susceptible to fluctuations. It was clear to the Forus plant that it needed a highly available, automated solution that could withstand the industrial scale in the long term.
Nortura's aim was to take its sausage production to a new level in the long term - with a fully automated solution that processes large quantities reliably, evenly and safely. In addition to efficiency and quality, technical reliability also played a key role: the new system needed to be low-maintenance, run stably and integrate smoothly into the existing processes. The company was looking for a system that combines high performance with minimal effort - as an investment in future-proof production.
With the TF4000, Nortura opted for a continuous transfer system that was specially developed for industrial requirements. The Vienna sausages in natural casing pass through various heating and cooling zones in a closed system - precisely controlled, gentle on the product and efficient. The serpentine conveyor technology enables short process times with minimal weight loss and consistent quality. The system has been at the heart of production in Forus for over 20 years - with only one planned week of downtime per year. A system that continues to set standards in terms of performance, reliability and availability.

What began as a technical project has developed into a trusting partnership over the years. FESSMANN has been supporting Nortura Forus for over two decades - with a high level of reliability, clear communication and a solution that continues to impress to this day. The collaboration is based on a mutual understanding of quality, efficiency and what counts in the long term: Technology that works - day after day.
