For years, Jerky Junction had been working with an outdated smoking system that served its purpose - but which was pushing the company's growth to its limits. With over 200 customers in the USA and the first exports to international markets, it became clear that the existing processes were too complex and no longer fit for the future. In particular, the manual control of the system, such as for humidity regulation, demanded constant attention and left little room for scaling. Production had to become more efficient, more precise and more resilient - in order to keep pace with increasing demand.
As Jerky Junction grew, so did the expectations placed on production: it needed to become more efficient, reliable and flexible - without having to fundamentally restructure ongoing operations. Kyle Baird was specifically looking for a solution that would not only keep pace with the increasing quantities, but also fit in with the existing structure. Manual processes, such as the constant readjustment of moisture, were to be replaced by a precise, digital control system in order to ensure consistent product quality and relieve the burden on day-to-day production. At the same time, new perspectives were to be opened up, such as the possibility of producing high-quality pet food products with the same quality standards. The goal was a future-proof, customized solution that works today - and leaves room for what is to come tomorrow.
In order to make production more efficient and flexible in the long term, Kyle Baird opted for the Ti3000 industrial system with six chambers from FESSMANN - a system that was not only technically impressive, but could also be optimally adapted to the existing processes. Instead of realigning the operation, the Ti3000 was individually extended so that the existing weighers could continue to be used - a practical step that saved time and resources.
With its direct gas system, the system ensures particularly short heating and drying times - ideal for the production of beef jerky and other dried products. The precise control enables consistently high quality, reduces manual effort and creates reliability in day-to-day production. The new technology also opens up new perspectives: In addition to the classic range, the production of high-quality pet food is now also coming more into focus - with the same demands on taste, consistency and efficiency.

The Ti3000 project was a real joint effort: FESSMANN planned and built the system, and it was implemented together with US partner Klever Equipped. For Kyle Baird, it was clear from the outset that this was not just a product being supplied, but a solution being created - based on close exchange, technical expertise and handshake quality. Reliable cooperation on an equal footing is a decisive factor for him - both technically and personally.
